Our meetings for 2018 will continue to be held on the Second Wednesday of the month, bimonthly on the odd months, i.e. January, March, May, July, September and November. We have held our meetings in the first floor function room at the Old Sergeant pub in Garratt Lane in the past. However the difficulties with noise transfer into this room and the new requirement for a charge for use means that we will be searching for a new venue.
OUR NOVEMBER MEETING WILL BE HELD AT A VENUE AND DATE THAT WILL BE CONFIRMED BY EMAIL. If you wish to join us and haven’t received the email with venue please request this by emailing the coordinator through the contact form.
We believe that the bimonthly arrangement allows sufficient time between meetings to carry out agreed actions. We will also hope to repeat our enjoyable informal Christmas get-together this year when the time comes! However please note that we sometimes have to change both the date and the venue, so it’s always best to check this website regarding the next group meeting prior to attending.
PLEASE NOTE: Our NEXT meeting will be held on WednesdayNovember 7 or 12 at a venue to be advised. Please revisit the website to view confirmation of date and venue.
The Group Meeting is the bimonthly opportunity for members of the group to catch up with one another, get an update on what Friends of the Earth is doing nationally and to plan what the group will do over the coming months. We aim also to agree actions that we intend to carry out before the following meeting.
You don’t have to be a member to come along, but it’s best if you let us know you want to come and we’ll be sure that there is someone to greet you. We’re a friendly group and new faces can be assured of a welcome and an open opportunity to join in the discussion.
